Vertical Blinds

Arguably the most popular blind purchased for many years.

The versatility of vertical blinds is well known. Not only do they offer aesthetic enhancements to your rooms but they can also offer privacy, light control and protection for valuable furniture, furnishings, flooring etc. When installed in conservatories, for example, they make the space feel more homely.

A wide range of fabrics in plain and pretty patterned styles are available in many colours. Some fabrics have special properties such as light-blocking – ideal for bedrooms, resistance to moisture – ideal for bathrooms and kitchens, wipeablility – helpfull in any situation.

The headrail (track) is made from sturdy aluminium extrusion, powdercoated white or brown with tough plastic trucks to carry the slats. Our vertical blinds are operated by two controls, a chain to turn the slats through 180 degrees and a weighted cord to draw the slats along the track, either to the left or to the right or to part from the middle. The slats have weights inserted at the bottom and each weight is linked with white stabilising chain which keeps them turning in unison.
